California High School Softball - Encinal edged by Sonoma Valley

The Encinal Jets softball squad (Alameda, CA), was edged 9-8 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the visiting Sonoma Valley Dragons (Sonoma, CA)

With the triumph, Sonoma Valley improves its record to 7-13 on the year. The Dragons travel to Petaluma (Petaluma, CA) to face the Trojans in a Vine Valley contest on Friday, May 2. The Trojans enter the contest with a record of 14-6. Petaluma won 11-1 in their recent league contest against American Canyon (American Canyon, CA)

The Jets now hold a 6-12 record. They play next when they travel to Analy for a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 30. Encinal will face a Tigers squad coming off a 15-2 non-league loss to Archie Williams (San Anselmo, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-14.
