West Central Trojans (Francesville, IN) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Hebron Hawks (Hebron, IN), 13-6 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, West Central upgrades its record to 9-4 on the year. The Trojans travel to Tri-County (Wolcott, IN) to play the Cavaliers in a Midwest game on Thursday, May 1. The Cavaliers enter the game with a record of 9-1. Tri-County won 5-3 in their recent non-league game against Rensselaer Central (Rensselaer, IN)

The Hawks now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Tri-Township for a Porter County game on Wednesday, April 30. Hebron will play a Tigers squad coming off a 13-5 league loss to South Central (Union Mills, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 0-5.
