The Jacksonville Crimsons softball team scored 27 runs and held the host MacArthur Generals to 2 in the Crimsons league win on Tuesday.

The Crimsons now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Athens for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 1. Jacksonville will confront a Warriors team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Springfield (Springfield, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 8-10.

With the loss, MacArthur moves to 0-13 on the season. The Generals host Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Monday, May 5. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 9-13. Mahomet-Seymour won 5-3 in their recent league match against Mattoon (Mattoon, IL)
