The McGregor Mercuries softball squad (McGregor, MN), was routed 13-1 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host South Ridge Panthers (Culver, MN)

With the triumph, South Ridge improves its record to 4-3 on the year. The Panthers host North Woods (Cook, MN) to face the grizzlies in a non-league contest on Friday, May 2. The grizzlies enter the contest with a record of 2-3. North Woods lost 5-3 in their recent non-league contest against Mountain Iron-Buhl (Mountain Iron, MN)

The Mercuries now hold a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Kelley for a Polar contest on Thursday, May 1. McGregor will face a Mariners squad coming off a 22-3 league win over Cromwell (Cromwell, MN). The Mariners record now stands at 9-2.
