Washington High School Softball - Meridian bested by Sedro-Woolley

The Sedro-Woolley Cubs triumphed over the host Meridian Trojans softball squad by a count of 24-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Cubs play the Mt. Baker Mountaineers (Deming, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge, on Thursday, May 1. Sedro-Woolley will attempt to upgrade on its 15-2 season record. The Mountaineers enter the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 8-7 league win over Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA).
The Trojans (2-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Bellingham (Bellingham, WA). The Bayhawks enter the 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge with a 0-14 record. In their last challenge, Bellingham was routed by Anacortes (Anacortes, WA), 1-0, in a league challenge.
