The Warden Cougars softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Zillah Leopards to 8 in the Cougars non-league win on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Columbia for a 2B EWAC East battle on Thursday, May 1. Warden will confront a Coyotes team coming off a 13-2 non-league win over Dayton (Dayton, WA). The Coyotes record now stands at 10-8.

With the loss, Zillah moves to 4-13 on the season. The Leopards host Selah (Selah, WA) to confront the Vikings in a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 30. The Vikings come into the battle with a record of 15-2. Selah won 15-0 in their recent non-league battle against Quincy (Quincy, WA)
