The Pingree Highlanders baseball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting Bancroft Bulldogs to 0 in the Highlanders league win on Wednesday.

The Highlanders now hold a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they host Lexington Christian Academy for a Eastern Independent test on Friday, May 1. Pingree will play a Lasers team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Gann Academy (Waltham, MA). The Lasers record now stands at 2-3.

With the defeat, Bancroft drops to 2-4 on the year. The Bulldogs host Boston Trinity Academy (Boston, MA) to play the Lions in a non-league test on Thursday, April 30. The Lions go into the test with a record of 4-3. Boston Trinity Academy won 17-16 in their recent non-league test against Wheeler (Providence, RI)
