The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Beverly Panthers (Beverly, MA) and the host Saugus Sachems (Saugus, MA), saw Beverly's baseball team gain a win over Saugus by a tally of 16-0.

The Panthers (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Danvers (Danvers, MA). The Falcons enter the Northeastern - South battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Danvers was overwhelmed by Gloucester (Gloucester, MA), 6-5, in a league battle.

Next, the Sachems face the Medford Mustangs (Medford, MA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 1. Saugus will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 5-5 record after their 8-1 league win over Lynn English (Lynn, MA).
