The Eureka Hornets (Eureka, IL) baseball trounced the visiting Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL), 10-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.

The Hornets now own a 10-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brimfield for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 30. Eureka will clash with a Indians team coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Knoxville (Knoxville, IL). The Indians record now stands at 17-3.

With the defeat, Fieldcrest drops to 8-10 on the year. The Knights travel to Heyworth (Heyworth, IL) to clash with the Hornets in a Heart of Illinois challenge on Friday, May 1. The Hornets go into the challenge with a record of 7-10. Heyworth won 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Delavan (Delavan, IL)
