The Red Mountain Mountain Lions (Mesa, AZ) baseball trounced the visiting Perry Pumas (Gilbert, AZ), 14-1 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

The Mountain Lions now own a 20-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Desert Vista for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 2. Red Mountain will clash with a Thunder team coming off a 10-1 non-league loss to O'Connor (Phoenix, AZ). The Thunder record now stands at 22-7.

With the defeat, Perry drops to 7-20 on the year.
