California High School Softball - Berkeley edged by Bishop O'Dowd

The Berkeley Yellowjackets softball squad (Berkeley, CA), was edged 2-1 in Wednesday's league test with the host Bishop O'Dowd Dragons (Oakland, CA)

Next, the Dragons clash with the Alameda Hornets (Alameda, CA) in a West Alameda County - Foothill test, on Friday, May 1. Bishop O'Dowd will attempt to advance on its 9-9 season record. The Hornets go into the test with a 17-3 record after their 14-0 non-league win over San Leandro (San Leandro, CA).

The Yellowjackets (12-4) will now prepare for their test against Arroyo (San Lorenzo, CA). The Dons go into the test with a 11-9 record. In their last test, Arroyo was nudged by Castro Valley (Castro Valley, CA), 5-1, in a non-league test.
