In Monday's league game, the host St. Pius X Lancers baseball team scored a tight 4-0 victory over the Bishop DuBourg Cavaliers.
The Lancers (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Grandview (Hillsboro, MO). The Eagles go into the Class 3 District 4 game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Grandview was overwhelmed by Windsor (Imperial, MO), 11-2, in a non-league game.
The Cavaliers (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Christian School District (O'Fallon, MO). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Christian School District was overwhelmed by Principia (St. Louis, MO), 10-6, in a league game.
