In Monday's non-league game, the host Bunnell Bulldogs baseball team scored a tight 9-2 victory over the Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers.
The Bulldogs (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Harding (Bridgeport, CT). The Presidents go into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Harding was overwhelmed by Kolbe-Cathedral (Bridgeport, CT), 24-3, in a non-league game.
The Hilltoppers (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Staples (Westport, CT). The Wreckers go into the Fairfield County game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Staples tipped Greenwich (Greenwich, CT), 8-0, in a league game.
