In Monday's non-league game, the host Galion Tigers baseball team scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Mohawk Warriors.
The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Clear Fork (Bellville, OH). The Colts go into the Mid Ohio Athletic game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Clear Fork tipped River Valley (Caledonia, OH), 13-0, in a league game.
The Warriors (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Buckeye Central (New Washington, OH). The Bucks go into the Northern 10 game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Buckeye Central was edged by Colonel Crawford (North Robinson, OH), 9-0, in a league game.
