In Monday's non-league game, the host Schaumburg Saxons baseball team scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Glenbard East Rams.
The Saxons (6-0) will now prepare for their game against Deerfield (Deerfield, IL). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 5-1 record.
The Rams (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Larkin (Elgin, IL). The Royals go into the Upstate Eight game with a 0-5 record. In their last game, Larkin by Marengo (Marengo, IL), 8-2, in a non-league game.
