The Leavenworth PIONEERS baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Highland Park Scots to 0 in the PIONEERS non-league victory on Monday.
The PIONEERS (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Turner (Kansas City, KS). The Golden Bears go into the Kaw Valley match with a 0-5 record. In their last match, Turner was overwhelmed by Tonganoxie (Tonganoxie, KS), 18-3, in a non-league match.
The Scots (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Schlagle (Kansas City, KS). The Stallions go into the non-league match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Schlagle was overwhelmed by Sumner Academy (Kansas City, KS), 20-3, in a non-league match.
