California High School Baseball - Hoover loses to Placer

The Placer Hillmen crushed the visiting Hoover Patriots baseball team by a count of 7-1 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Hillmen now possess a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Reedley for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 4. Placer will face a Pirates team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Sunnyside (Fresno, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 6-7.

Next, the Patriots face the Amador Valley Dons (Pleasanton, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 4. Hoover will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record. The Dons enter the bout with a 8-1 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Clovis North (Fresno, CA).
