The Ocean Township Spartans crushed the visiting Murray Tigers baseball team by a count of 8-1 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Herndon for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 4. Ocean Township will face a Hornets team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Eastern (Louisville, KY). The Hornets record now stands at 5-1.
Next, the Tigers face the Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 4. Murray will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Tomcats enter the bout with a 2-5 record after their 15-2 non-league loss to East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC).
