The North Davidson Black Knights crushed the visiting West Davidson Dragons baseball team by a count of 9-1 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Black Knights now possess a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Asheboro for a Mid-Piedmont 3A bout on Tuesday, April 4. North Davidson will face a Blue Comets team coming off a 6-3 league win over Central Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Blue Comets record now stands at 7-4.
Next, the Dragons face the Lexington Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC) in a Central Carolina 1A/2A bout, on Tuesday, April 4. West Davidson will attempt to move on its 4-9 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the bout with a 2-8 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to High Point Central (High Point, NC).
