In Monday's non-league game, the host Riverside Academy Rebels baseball team scored a tight 10-4 victory over the South Plaquemines Hurricanes.
The Rebels (8-6) will now prepare for their game against Varnado (Angie, LA). The Wildcats go into the 1A District 9 game with a 3-7 record.
The Hurricanes (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Thomas Jefferson (Gretna, LA). The go into the non-league game with a 6-11 record.
