The Bishop McGuinness Villains tipped the host Forsyth Country Day Furies lacrosse team by a score of 8-7 in Monday's non-league match.
With the win, Bishop McGuinness upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Villains travel to West Stokes (King, NC) to play the Wildcats in a Mid-State/Mid Piedmont/NW Piedmont match on Tuesday, April 4. The Wildcats go into the match with a record of 6-3. West Stokes won 6-3 in their recent non-league match against Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC)
With the defeat, Forsyth Country Day drops to 5-3 on the season. The Furies travel to Durham Academy (Durham, NC) to play the Cavaliers in a Freelance match on Thursday, April 6. The Cavaliers go into the match with a record of 4-3. Durham Academy lost 20-10 in their recent non-league match against Strath Haven (Wallingford, PA)
