In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Clinton Cardinals soccer squad scored a close 5-0 triumph over the Kirkwood Pioneers.
The Cardinals (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Marquette (Chesterfield, MO). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Marquette was overwhelmed by St. Joseph's Academy (St. Louis, MO), 5-1, in a non-league battle.
The Pioneers (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Webster Groves (Webster Groves, MO). The Statesmen come into the non-league battle with a 0-4 record.
