The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) and the visiting Athens Drive Jaguars (Raleigh, NC), saw Ashley's lacrosse team top Athens Drive by a margin of 19-10.
The Screaming Eagle (11-1) will now prepare for their challenge against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC). The Trojans enter the Mideastern challenge with a 0-8 record. In their last challenge, West Brunswick was overwhelmed by Hoggard (Wilmington, NC), 17-0, in a league challenge.
The Jaguars (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Laney (Wilmington, NC). The Buccaneers enter the non-league challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Laney beat North Brunswick (Leland, NC), 15-4, in a league challenge.
