Bullock Creek Lancers (Midland, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Alpena Wildcats (Alpena, MI), 10-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Lancers now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shepherd for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 6.

With the loss, Alpena falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Cadillac (Cadillac, MI) to face the Vikings in a Big North challenge on Tuesday, April 25. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 0-2.
