California High School Softball - Arlington holds off Paloma Valley

April 3, 2023: Riverside, CA 92503

Arlington Lions (Riverside, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Paloma Valley Wildcats (Menifee, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Lions now own a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they host Ramona for a River Valley challenge on Wednesday, April 5. Arlington will battle a Rams squad coming off a 16-2 league win over La Sierra (Riverside, CA). The Rams record now stands at 14-3.

With the loss, Paloma Valley falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Heritage (Menifee, CA) to battle the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 4. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 5-9. Heritage lost 13-6 in their recent league challenge against Valley View (Moreno Valley, CA)
