The South Plaquemines Hurricanes (Buras, LA) softball routed the visiting Booker T. Washington Lions (New Orleans, LA), 16-1 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Hurricanes (5-5) will now prepare for their bout against Belle Chasse (Belle Chasse, LA). The Cardinals go into the non-league bout with a 6-3 record.
The Lions now possess a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Landry for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 4. Booker T. Washington will confront a Buccaneers squad coming off a 20-5 non-league loss to Willow (New Orleans, LA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 0-1.
