The Brazos Cougars (Wallis, TX) softball routed the host Hitchcock Bulldogs (Hitchcock, TX), 28-3 in Monday's league bout.

The Cougars (4-8) will now prepare for their bout against Boling (Boling, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Region III District 24 bout with a 5-11 record. In their last bout, Boling was routed by East Bernard (East Bernard, TX), 13-2, in a league bout.
