Calhoun Warriors (Hardin, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Griggsville-Perry Tornadoes (Griggsville, IL), 13-0 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Routt Catholic for a Western Illinois Valley - South challenge on Thursday, April 6. Calhoun will battle a Rockets squad coming off a 21-0 league win over North Greene (White Hall, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Griggsville-Perry falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Tornadoes host Seymour (Payson, IL) to battle the Indians in a West Central challenge on Wednesday, April 5. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 1-6. Seymour lost 7-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Brown County (Mt. Sterling, IL)
