Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors (Hammond, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Calumet New Tech Warriors (Gary, IN), 15-1 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Station Edison for a Greater South Shore challenge on Tuesday, April 4. Hammond Bishop Noll will face a Fighting Eagles squad coming off a 17-0 non-league loss to Westville (Westville, IN). The Fighting Eagles record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Calumet New Tech falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Warriors host Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN) to face the Wildcats in a Greater South Shore challenge on Tuesday, April 4. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 1-0.
