In Monday's non-league contest, the Clyde Fliers (Clyde, OH) softball team overwhelmed the host Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, OH), by a margin of 16-3.
With the triumph, Clyde moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Fliers travel to Norwalk (Norwalk, OH) to play the Truckers in a Sandusky Bay - Lake contest on Tuesday, April 4. The Truckers come into the contest with a record of 0-6. Norwalk lost 10-1 in their recent league contest against Bellevue (Bellevue, OH)
In their next game, the Minutemen play the Wooster Generals (Wooster, OH) in a Ohio Cardinal contest, on Wednesday, April 5. Lexington will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Generals come into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to Chippewa (Doylestown, OH).
