In Monday's non-league contest, the Hinsdale Central Red Devils (Hinsdale, IL) softball team overwhelmed the visiting De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL), by a margin of 20-14.
With the triumph, Hinsdale Central moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Red Devils host Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL) to play the Roadrunners in a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 4. The Roadrunners come into the contest with a record of 2-3. Nazareth Academy won 10-6 in their recent non-league contest against Reavis (Burbank, IL)
In their next game, the Meteors play the DePaul College Prep Rams (Chicago, IL) in a GCAC-White contest, on Wednesday, April 5. De La Salle will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record.
