Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the East Jessamine Jaguars (Nicholasville, KY) and the visiting Dixie Heights Colonels (Edgewood, KY), witnessed East Jessamine's softball squad tip Dixie Heights by a count of 9-2.

The Jaguars now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Christian Academy-Louisville for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 4. East Jessamine will face a Centurions squad coming off a 7-1 non-league win over DuPont Manual (Louisville, KY). The Centurions record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Dixie Heights moves to 1-4 on the season. The Colonels host Simon Kenton (Independence, KY) to face the Pioneers in a non-league match on Wednesday, April 5. The Pioneers go into the match with a record of 4-0. Simon Kenton won 12-1 in their recent non-league match against Cooper (Union, KY)
