The Serena Huskers softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Fieldcrest Knights to 1 in the Huskers non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Serena moves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Huskers host St. Francis (Wheaton, IL) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league game on Thursday, April 6. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 6-1. St. Francis won 10-4 in their recent non-league game against Somonauk (Somonauk, IL)

In their next game, the Knights clash with the Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL) in a Heart of Illinois game, on Friday, April 7. Fieldcrest will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Vikings come into the game with a 3-2 record after their 10-3 non-league win over Monticello (Monticello, IL).
