Galva/Williamsfield Bombers (Galva, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Midland Timberwolves (Varna, IL), 20-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Bombers now own a 1-0 record.

With the loss, Midland falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Timberwolves host Woodland (Streator, IL) to battle the Warriors in a Tri-County challenge on Tuesday, April 4. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 2-4. Woodland lost 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Seneca (Seneca, IL)
