The Johnson County Longhorns routed the visiting Hampton Bulldogs softball squad by a final score of 13-1 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Longhorns (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Sullivan East (Bluff City, TN). The Patriots go into the non-league battle with a 2-12 record.

The Bulldogs now possess a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Cloudland for a 1A District 1 battle on Tuesday, April 4. Hampton will meet a Highlanders squad coming off a 14-1 league win over Hampton (Hampton, TN). The Highlanders record now stands at 3-0.
