Holden Rockets (Holden, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting John Curtis Christian Patriots (River Ridge, LA), 6-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Rockets now own a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they host Archbishop Hannan for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 4.
With the loss, John Curtis Christian falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Patriots host St. Amant (St. Amant, LA) to battle the Gators in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 11. The Gators enter the challenge with a record of 26-1.
