Arizona High School Softball - Metro Tech loses to Independence

The Independence Patriots softball team scored 32 runs and limited the visiting Metro Tech Knights to 2 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Independence improves its record to 4-5 on the year. The Patriots host Glendale (Glendale, AZ) to clash with the Cardinals in a 5A Central Valley game on Wednesday, April 5. The Cardinals come into the game with a record of 4-10. Glendale lost 17-2 in their recent league game against Kofa (Yuma, AZ)
In their next game, the Knights clash with the McClintock Chargers (Tempe, AZ) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 5. Metro Tech will attempt to improve on its 1-13 season record. The Chargers come into the game with a 7-8 record after their 12-2 non-league win over North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ).
