In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Lincolnwood Lancers softball squad scored a tight 4-2 win over the Mulberry Grove Aces.
The Lancers now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Staunton for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 4. Lincolnwood will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-7 non-league win over Carlinville (Carlinville, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Mulberry Grove falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Aces travel to Staunton (Staunton, IL) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 6. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 6-3. Staunton won 15-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Lincolnwood (Raymond, IL)
