The Robertson Cardinals softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Los Alamos Hilltoppers to 7 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Robertson improves its record to 10-3 on the year. The Cardinals host Santa Fe Indian (Santa Fe, NM) to clash with the Braves in a 3A District 2 game on Tuesday, April 4. The Braves come into the game with a record of 12-0. Santa Fe Indian won 21-1 in their recent league game against St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM)
In their next game, the Hilltoppers clash with the Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM) in a 4A District 2 game, on Wednesday, April 5. Los Alamos will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Pintos come into the game with a 11-2 record after their 16-2 league win over Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM).
