The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) and the visiting Princess Anne Cavaliers (Virginia Beach, VA), saw Western Branch's softball squad nip Princess Anne by a count of 10-4.

The Bruins now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to King's Fork for a Southeastern match on Tuesday, April 4. Western Branch will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 20-2 non-league win over Denbigh (Newport News, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Princess Anne falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Tallwood (Virginia Beach, VA) to face the Lions in a Beach match on Thursday, April 6. The Lions enter the match with a record of 3-5. Tallwood lost 6-1 in their recent league match against First Colonial (Virginia Beach, VA)
