In Monday's non-league outing, the host Salpointe Catholic Lancers softball team scored a nice 15-0 win over the Rincon/University Rangers.
Coming up next, the Lancers encounter the Sahuaro Cougars (Tucson, AZ) in a 4A Kino outing, on Tuesday, April 4. Salpointe Catholic will attempt to improve on its 21-1 season record. The Cougars enter the outing with a 7-7 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Pusch Ridge Christian Academy (Tucson, AZ).
The Rangers (2-13) will now prepare for their outing against Sunnyside (Tucson, AZ). The Blue Devils enter the 6A South outing with a 17-4 record. In their last outing, Sunnyside prevailed over Buena (Sierra Vista, AZ), 23-5, in a non-league outing.
