Walkertown Wolfpack (Walkertown, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host River Mill Jaguars (Graham, NC), 11-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Wolfpack now own a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they host West Stokes for a Mid-State 2A challenge on Tuesday, April 11.

With the loss, River Mill falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC) to battle the Knights in a Central Tar Heel 1A challenge on Thursday, April 6. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 3-1. Chatham Charter lost 11-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC)
