In Monday's non-league contest, the Sierra Vista Mountain Lions (Las Vegas, NV) softball team overwhelmed the host Silverado Skyhawks (Las Vegas, NV), by a margin of 17-5.

With the triumph, Sierra Vista moves its record to 2-5 on the year. The Mountain Lions host Palo Verde (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Panthers in a 5A South - Mountain contest on Wednesday, April 5. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 7-5. Palo Verde won 20-2 in their recent non-league contest against Silverado (Las Vegas, NV)

In their next game, the Skyhawks play the Del Sol Dragons (Las Vegas, NV) in a 4A Desert contest, on Wednesday, April 5. Silverado will attempt to move on its 9-6 season record. The Dragons come into the contest with a 0-4 record after their 19-4 league loss to Mojave (North Las Vegas, NV).
