The Mott Corsairs baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Cranbrook Kingswood Cranes to 3 in the Corsairs non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Corsairs (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI). The Knights go into the Lakes Valley match with a 0-1 record.

The Cranes (0-1) will now prepare for their match against L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI). The Crusaders go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, L'Anse Creuse North was overwhelmed by De La Salle Collegiate (Warren, MI), 7-1, in a non-league match.
