Franklin County Lions (Carnesville, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host West-Oak Warriors (Westminster, SC), 17-8 in a non-league test.

With the win, Franklin County upgrades its record to 20-5 on the season. The Lions travel to Stephens County (Toccoa, GA) to battle the Indians in a 3A Area 8 test on Tuesday, April 9. The Indians come into the test with a record of 9-14.

With the defeat, West-Oak falls to 2-10 on the season. The Warriors travel to Westside (Anderson, SC) to battle the Rams in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 3. The Rams come into the test with a record of 6-11. Westside lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Franklin County (Carnesville, GA)
