The Wilson Tigers crushed the visiting Ridge View Blazers baseball team by a count of 9-0 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Myrtle Beach for a 4A Region 6 bout on Tuesday, April 9. Wilson will face a Seahawks team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Goretti (Hagerstown, MD). The Seahawks record now stands at 6-3.
Next, the Blazers face the Westwood Redhawks (Blythewood, SC) in a 4A Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, April 9. Ridge View will attempt to move on its 1-12 season record. The Redhawks enter the bout with a 3-8 record after their 17-7 non-league loss to Orangeburg-Wilkinson (Orangeburg, SC).
