In Wednesday's non-league test, the host DeWitt Panthers lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-5 victory over the Midland Chemics.
The Panthers now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pennfield for a non-league test on Thursday, April 4.
In their next game, the Chemics face the Canton Chiefs (Canton, MI) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 6. Midland will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Chiefs come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 12-6 non-league win over Pioneer (Ann Arbor, MI).
