In Wednesday's non-league test, the host Hammond Golden Bears lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-5 victory over the Meade Mustangs.
The Golden Bears now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Glenelg for a Howard County test on Friday, April 5. Hammond will face a Gladiators squad coming off a 17-10 non-league loss to Severna Park (Severna Park, MD). The Gladiators record now stands at 2-1.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Glen Burnie Gophers (Glen Burnie, MD) in a non-league test, on Friday, April 5. Meade will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Gophers come into the test with a 2-0 record after their 12-2 non-league win over Oakland Mills (Columbia, MD).
