Mauldin Mavericks (Mauldin, SC) followers exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Hillcrest Rams (Simpsonville, SC), 15-3 in a league battle.
The Mavericks now have a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodmont for a 5A District 1 battle on Thursday, April 4. Mauldin will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 17-2 non-league win over St. Joseph's Catholic (Greenville, SC). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-3.
In their next game, the Rams clash with the Wade Hampton Generals (Greenville, SC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 8. Hillcrest will attempt to move on its 0-8 season record. The Generals come into the battle with a 3-10 record after their 16-1 league loss to Riverside (Greer, SC).
