Bagdad Sultans (Bagdad, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Kingman Academy Tigers (Kingman, AZ), 10-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Sultans now sport a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mayer for a 1A West challenge on Thursday, April 4. Bagdad will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 34-12 non-league loss to Maryvale Prep (Phoenix, AZ). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-8.

With the loss, Kingman Academy falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Tigers host Arizona Lutheran Academy (Phoenix, AZ) to face the Coyotes in a 2A West challenge on Friday, April 5. The Coyotes enter the challenge with a record of 1-6. Arizona Lutheran Academy lost 15-3 in their recent league challenge against Kingman Academy (Kingman, AZ)
